Senior or Principal Customer Project/Program Manager:
Automotive
Connect44 are looking for highly experienced/motivated PMs in the key domain of Automotive. The candidate should have relevant industry knowledge/play a part in further expanding the Automotive business by getting deeply involved in understanding the needs of customers with view to managing total business scope/delivery precision for offerings in the area of Connect Vehicles (CV)
In this role you will work centrally/will be part of a global team of highly skilled industry experts within the domain of Automotive working with sales/account teams, operations teams/the customer.
Responsibilities
- To deliver/manage large complex ICT&SI Automotive focussed projects/programs through all phases: presales, analysis, dimensioning, planning, execution/closure.
- To manage the project/program team to ensure their commitment/full alignment to key objectives/success factors.
- Prepare full suite of project/program documentation including, but not limited to: detailed costs, scope of work, status reports, trackers, risk/mitigation plans & trackers, quality plans, health/safety plans/management, resource plans/the ability to manage/update these during the project/program.
- Ensure all projects/programs are delivered on time, on budget, on scope/on quality KPIs as a minimum
- To achieve add on sales during program delivery/identify new business opportunities.
- Manage/lead both technical/non-technical resources across different locations globally if required.
- To manage 3PP partners including price negotiation, delivery precision/performance management.
- To maintain stakeholder management during the program life cycle with a strong focus on the customer relationship/developing new Business opportunities.
- Deliver the program according to the company defined methodologies/controls.
- Establish/maintain contacts with key decision makers in the customer organization on C-level in order to contribute to higher sales volumes.
Required Skills/Experience
Industry Competence & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience/proven personal track record in running projects/programs in the area of in the ICT professional services business focussing on CVs.
- Knowledge of the ecosystem/vendors, value chains, regulatory environment, processes & operations in the Automotive industries
- Demonstrated competence in delivering complex projects/programs/CVs solutions in a program management role.
- Solid understanding of customers business risks, regulatory environments/major stakeholders/technical requirements in area of CVs.
Project Management
- 8+ years International Customer Project/Program Management experience in an ICT environment.
- Strong Leadership skills - this is a key requirement of the role, with evidence of having been identified as a leader within previous teams, roles or assignment & leading diverse teams across countries/in varied situations.
- Demonstrated experience of using a PM model of delivery.
- 3PP experience including negotiating price, quality,/performance management.
- Strong competence in PM Tools, MS Project, MS Office & Budget applications.
- Proven experience in problem solving/handling customer escalations,/the ability to do so under pressure/tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal/external stakeholders for the good of the business.
- Proven experience from translating the business needs of an Automotive customer into an appropriately scoped project taking into consideration business, technical/operational aspects in order to mitigate delivery program risks
- Capability to co-ordinate geographically distributed project teams.
- Excellent written, verbal/presentation skills
Technical
- Understanding of how ICT enables a transformation in the Automotive industries through deploying management (OSS/BSS)/communications technologies.
- Understanding technical issues to be considered scoping/management of CV implementation project.
Other

Education
- University degree in Engineering/ICT/Project/Business Management
- PMP or PRINCE2 Certified, or equivalent necessary.
- Program Management Professional (PgMP)®/MSP desirable.
