My client is a leading global financial institution are require an Enterprise Relationship Manager to work on 12 monthly rolling contract in Dubai.
The successful candidate must have at least 10 - 15 year's experience of working as an Enterprise Relationship Manager for a leading bank within the Middle East or APAC regions.
Interim Risk SME. Design, develop and implement the overarching enterprise wide risk management framework and governance strategy for the exchange. Perform gap analysis and derive ERM framework elements, organisational structure and governance, risk management processes and tools and develop and embed a risk culture supported by three lines of defence model.
Risk Management strategy consulting: Risk Register/List of Risks
Compile a universal list of all possible Risks that the Bank may face, to be broken down into a hierarchy of level 1 and level 2 risks (and where necessary level 3 risks.
This risk universe will be robust and consider both internal and external risks that may impact the Bank and will be comprehensive to cover all risks whether or not they relate to the Banking industry or not.
The universe of risks will be based on the consultant's experience of Enterprise Risk Management from other assignments and information obtained from conducting internal workshops across the Group (ie Bank and all its subsidiaries) to ensure all risks no matter how trivial is considered and listed.
Risk and Control Assessment workshops
Conduct Workshops with each Business Unit, Subsidiary and Support Function to determine suitable mitigants and controls for each of the risks that are currently in place within the Bank/Group and ensure that these mitigants and controls and in line with best practice. Where there is no effective mitigants/control or where they do not exist, we will provide recommendations to close such gaps.
Risk Management Consulting: Development of templates
We will develop a risk assessment/risk identification/risk register template to capture all necessary information as per COSO Framework and ISO 31000 (a template will be developed for each Business Unit, Subsidiary and Support Function and aggregated for the Total Group). As such a methodology for risk measurement/impact analysis and risk aggregation will need to be developed by the consultant within the template. The methodology of each risk assessment/risk identification shall be documented.
Risk Management consulting: Gap Analysis
Document the Bank's Policy & Procedure gaps identified during Phases 1 & 2
Risk Management strategy consulting: Risk Mitigation Action Plan
Develop an action plan and roadmap to close all identified mitigants and control gaps. This will be developed in order of significant risk/priority, with timelines and specific requirements for each gap to be documented and provided to the Bank.
Risk Management strategy consulting: Policy & Procedure Documents
Develop an Enterprise Risk Management policy & procedure document in line with international best practice and in line with the COSO Framework and ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management Standard.

Develop an Enterprise Risk Management Framework document in line with international best practice and in line with the COSO Framework and ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management Standard
Risk Management consulting: ERM Dashboard
Develop an Enterprise Risk Management Dashboard (with indicators)/Reporting framework and reports to monitor all risks and this should include a process to monitor the top 20 risks of the Bank for Senior Management by using tools/systems/processes that are already available within the Bank. Any other suggestions from the consultant will be considered as required
