A Global Manufacturing company are seeking an Incident Manager / Problem Manager to join them urgently on a short term contract.This is a great opportunity to work with an organisation who leads their competition and are growing rapidly.
Job Title: Incident Manager / Problem Manager
Contract Length: 1- 3 months (to cover sick leave)
Rate: £ per day (dependant on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Greater Manchester, North West

Required Experience:
Incident management and Problem management
Troubleshooting industrial systems
Excellent understanding and appreciation of operations, service management principles, systems, infrastructure, and software.
Experience of large and complex ITIL based service contracts
The Job Role:
As the soleIncident manager /Problem manager you willwork alongside the Service Desk and Technical Support teams to ensure a high quality ticket management philosophy is maintained both from a ticket detail and ticket management perspective.
Maintain communications with the customers and relating parts of the business, ensuring you have regular contact with the IT teams and making sure they are working to enhance our ability to deliver and add value.
Compilation and issue of major incident reports.
Incident detection, logging and monitoring.
Investigation and diagnosis (preferably with a manufacturing organisation)
Planning appropriate measures for incident management, manage resolution and co-ordination or incident response, support risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
