Description
A market leading Telecoms company is seeking recognised expert Industrial Designers to join their R&D site based in Stockholm.The contract will initially last for 12 months but the hiring manager has made it very clear he fully expects the consultant to be on-site for 3+ years (if you wish to extend).
Responsibilities:
- Guide product development from start to finish
- Communicate innovative ideas within the company
- Manage projects
- Responsible for ideation & implementation
- Understand competition, the industry and associated standards
Required skills:
- 5-10 years experience in industrial Design
- PhD & relevant Patents
- Confident user of the following tools: Pro-Engineer, Rhino, Key-shot, 3Ds, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
- Confident straight line designer
- User-centric designer (understand how the product should be held etc.)
- Experience of designing innovative, simple & iconic designs
