Clinical Coder, 6 months, LiverpoolAre you a specialised Clinical Coder Contractor looking for your next interim assignment within the NHS? You will an essential part of a busy clinical coding team working alongside other coders in providing an efficient service for the trust.
The Package
Rate - £ p/d
Location - Liverpool
Duration- 6 months
The scope of work
You will be responsible for the abstraction of clinical data from patient records and translating it into diagnostic and procedure coding classifications. Able to demonstrate competence in the use of ICD10 and OPCS 4.7 classifications, coding rules and application of national clinical coding standards across acute specialties is a prerequisite.
Essential Skills
- Clinical Coding experience within a NHS environment is vital
- You must have had partaken in a refresher course within the last 3 years
- Knowledge of Coding Systems and or PAS systems
Desirable
- Have a ACC qualification
