An experienced Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager is required for a financial services company based in London.
The suitable Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience in security within the financial industry. The Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager will need to be fully knowledgeable and experienced in providing services, products and support that comply with Sarbanes Oxley and ISO 27001.
The responsibilities of the Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager will include safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality and availability of business information. As the Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager you will have proven customer service and leadership skills and be an excellent team player.
Skills/Expertise required for the Information Security Officer / IT Security Manager role:
- Ability to design security architecture
- Ability to provide blue print for infrastructure related security, application security, data security as well as physical security
- Self-motivated. Identifies and initiates actions required to address issues as they develop
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
- Very strong client servicing skills required with the ability to follow through on a timely basis
- Experience liaising with both technical and senior end user communities is highly desirable
- Exposure to Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Application Integration would be beneficial
