SLS Engineer - The Netherlands
We are currently recruiting for an SLS Engineer to join a leading telecommunications vendor based in Sliedrecht, Netherlands on a contractual basis.
The purpose of the role is to support the Field Engineers and provide advice to the end customers on Transmission related issues.
Key responsibilities of the SLS Engineer will include the following:
Support Site Engineer/Construction Leaders for link changes, Change Management procedures, planning SIAE and build activities. Support Field Engineers, Switch Engineers and NOC Back Office regarding SIAE troubleshooting for link build, change and link outages. Configuring Huawei PTN at FttS, Leased Lines and Microwave sites. Configuring 3G IP, re-routing and troubleshooting. Executing network configuration changes like additional E1 and VLAN changes. Configuring Circuit Emulation paths. Executing link changes and remote upgrades. Supporting the design teams for special site configurations
