Digital Operations Support Manager required by our public sector client to work within their Online/Digital Division to manage and administer processes and resources in support of their digital programme.

The Digital Operations Support Manager will also work closely with other colleagues to support the wider objectives of the Business Management and Communications team eg driving business excellence and efficient processes across the division. The post holder must have experience of working in a fast paced, digital environment.

Responsibilities:

*Recruitment, resourcing, procurement, projects
*Develop and deliver plans to meet the operational needs of the Online/Digital Department in relation to recruitment, resourcing, procurement/provision of services and supplies for the efficient running of the division
*Act as a key point of support and advice on procurement, the provision of services and other operational projects for the division
*Manage On-Boarding of all New Starts
*Manage recruitment partner requirements including contractual relations with advertising channels and specialist agencies;
*Liaise across organisation to ensure all internal on-boarding processes are promptly and correctly completed.
*Schedule and advise branch heads in applicant sifting and interview preparation.
*Responsible for agency and new-start communications, eg Advertising, CV gathering, managing the offer process, issue resolution, compliance on documentation and deliverables, induction.
*Producing clear and effective documentation and relaying specialised/technical information.
*Develop appropriate communications to deliver instructions on operational matters in clear, concise and timely way
*Develop a framework for the capturing of MI data for Operations area of responsibility to inform and support decision making by the management team
*Set up processes to track and monitor recruitment/resourcing activity and procurement - use evidence to drive business excellence and efficiencies
*Work with the Senior Digital Operations Manager to set and deliver clear targets around recruitment, resourcing, procurement, service provision and operations for the division
*Work closely with other colleagues to deliver operational priorities around recruitment and resourcing, procurement and technical projects
*Support event management of a busy schedule of stakeholder events for the division
*Work closely with other operational colleagues on recruitment and resourcing during peak times
Process Management
*Oversee forward schedule for recruitment, resourcing, procurement, services and events
*Ensure alignment between department budget and operational objectives
*Produce clear and effective documentation; maintain and extend divisional operations manual, identify and drive business process improvements.
*Ensure all files and service agreements are kept up to date on each contract and providing assistance and support to Account Managers with the contract renewal process for assigned accounts.
*Work closely with the wider team to support all operational requirements: advise on and manage processes, office planning and new start integration, liaise as required with other divisions esp. Departmental Security and IT management.

Essential Criteria:
*Experience of Account Management/Client Management in fast pace/digital or change environment
*Self-motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a patient, but effective, negotiator
*Enthusiastic & open team-worker with a high level of initiative;
*Ability to manage multiple tasks, sensitive situations and deadline pressures well
*Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Highly organised and attentive to detail

Desirable Criteria:
*Significant project coordination experience
*Technical and process awareness in a digital environment, ie general knowledge of software, hardware, approaches, working methods, etc.
*Knowledge of the public service landscape
