Manufacturing Technician/CNC Operator
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £18.00 - £20 per hour plus shift uplift (Umbrella/Limited rate)
Contract Length: 6 months
The Company:
A leading aerospace client, dealing in the design, development and manufacture of electronic control systems for aero gas turbine engines.
The Role:
The manufacturing technician you will be responsible for setting and operating multi axis CNC Milling machines or lathes to produce aerospace components in a high precision environment. Initially responsibilities would focus around manufacture of Valve & Bearing components.
The Manufacturing Technician may also be involved in de-burring and inspection operations for complex machined components.
Candidate
As a manufacturing technician you will have experience of setting and operating CNC multi-axis Mills or lathes (for example: Matsuura, Yasda and Doosans) and be capable of reading manufacturing/assembly drawings and capable of own inspection.
As this is a shift based position, you must be willing to work flexible shift patterns.
Milling, 4 or 5 axis mills, Fanuc, CNC operator, Okuma, Grinding, Turning, Inspection and Manufacturing Technician
Commutable: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Wolverhampton, and West Midlands.
