Job Profile
The client we are working with are a highly successful Water Division has an opportunity for a CAD/BIM technician to join its core design team in Cambridge on a contract basis.
Job Description
You will assist our team of world-class engineers on major high-profile work for UK water utilities companies. This will involve the production of civil, mechanical and electrical outline and detailed design drawings, using 2D, 3D and BIM software packages. Your level of input and responsibility will be commensurate with your experience.
Candidate Specification:
- Competent CAD technician (civil and water experience desirable), capable of delivering quality CAD drawings to deadlines
- Strong AutoCAD drawing and detailing skills, to provide design input to drawing production
- Experience in BIM packages such as 3D CAD, Revit Structure (essential) and MicroStation (desirable)
- Able to provide civil/process/MEICA water, wastewater and network CAD drawings to a high standard
- Flexible to adopt appropriate drawing standards and protocols to suit project requirements.
Rate: Negotiable on experience.
