Sr. Property Accountant
Daily responsibilities:
-Provide support service to NFS (National Facilities Services) and Medical Centers.
-Perform monthly financial close procedures (recording of JEs) and analyze GL accounts.
-Reconcile various accounts.
-Prepare various financial and management reports.
-Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues including the maintenance of internal controls.
-Participates in and implements monthly financial close, supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets.
-Prepares monthly management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules.
-Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of Accounting experience.
Candidates must be able to speak to what is on their resume.
Communication Skills.
Understanding of accounting fundamentals
Debits/Credits, and particularly around Asset capitalization, and depreciation concepts.
Motivated Self-starter.
CPA preferred
Bachelors in Business or Accounting required
