Role: Senior Regulatory Advice & Liaison ManagerLocation: North West England

Duration: 6 month initial, likely to extend for a further 6 based on performance
My client are looking for someone to lead and operate a 2nd line Regulatory Risk function, providing timely, clear, independent and pragmatic regulatory advice and guidance to 1st line teams, alongside maintaining a strong working relationship with the regulators, including facilitation and oversight of regulator visits.
I am looking for candidates with the following experience:
- SME level expertise for regulatory requirements applicable to the financial services sector
- Substantial knowledge, understanding and experience of managing Regulatory Risk, ideally within a 2nd line oversight team.
- Ideally will have worked within General Insurance in this role, but wider Banking and Life/Pension/Broker background would suffice
- Specific experience of conduct risk around full customer lifecycle - product design, marketing, claims and complaints - is ideal
- Previous experience of working with the FCA and PRA
- Previous experience of facilitating regulator visits is ideal
