Bank of America Merrill Lynch based in Chester is currently seeking a Finance Analyst to join their Finance division.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) footprint compromises of 32 cities across 23 countries across three continents with currently over 14,000 associates based in EMEA.

The EMEA Chief Financial Office acts as both a control function and a valued business advisor by providing expertise is numerous areas.

Key Skills required for a Finance Analyst:

*Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
*Accounting experience (degree level, by experience of part-qualified)
*Strong reporting and month-end experience
*General Ledger experience
*Excellent MS Office skills (including Excel)
*MS Access working knowledge and experience
*Strong communication skills - written and verbal
*Ability to self manage and prioritise

Responsibilities of a Financial Analyst:

*Month end close including journal preparation for support.
*Support monthly reporting cycle including reporting pack production, various P&L, expense and balance sheet reviews
*Statutory reporting supporting production of annual financial statements of Regulated and Statutory entities.
*Working with UK regulatory reporting team to support FSA return production
*Liaising with external auditors, providing directly and managing supply of auditable support from other functions.
