SO-D Unix-AIX Infrastructure Architect
1. Technical skills
- AIX expert
- Linux expert
- Advanced Solaris skills is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of virtualisation techniques on AIX (Micropartitioning, LPAR, HMC, VIOS Management, IVE, NPIV)
- Advanced Power HA (HACMP) skills
- Hardware knowledge of Power
- Experience in Tivoli Storage Manager Client and Tivoli Data Protection Client
- Advanced experience in Scripting languages: Kornshell, Perl,
- Knowledge of storage infrastructure (SAN, SVC, DS, XIV, ) and network infrastructure
2. Other skills
- Client oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize activities
- Good teaming and communication skills
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- Resistance to operational pressure
- Ability to respect procedures, to review and propose improvements
- Flexible and willing to perform planned interventions outside the official working hours
- Very mature in taking ownership and in showing dedication
