C++ Developer
Dublin based company seek a C++ Software Developer to work on developing application software for a new medical device. This will be an initial 3 month contract.
This exciting role will give you the opportunity to work on a world's first, ground breaking new product. You will work alongside experienced and talented software and hardware teams. This company create sensitive sophisticated biometric software and sensitive radio frequency motion sensors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Your role would be develop and debug applications on our Linux based medical device
The device application manages:
- Capture of medical data
- Communication of medical data to Back End service
- User interface
Working within software development environment:
- Adopting coding and software development methodologies
- Adopting our source control procedures
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A passionate, self-motivated, flexible and adaptive individual
- Willing to work on cross functional teams, eg, software, hardware, systems
- Relevant degree qualification in electronic engineering, computer science, or related field
- Proficient in the C++ programming language - 4-5 years recent development experience
- Experience of working in a structured software environment (eg, source control, bug tracking, unit test)
DESERIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with the Linux environment
- Experience with Linux tools (GCC/Make)
- Experience with QT Framework
- Experience programming with the Raspberry Pi
