My public sector client is currently in the market for a Communications Officer to join their team in Edinburgh on an initial 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for devising and implementing both internal and external communication plans to help promote the benefits of new service offerings. This will involve working with staff and customers, managing the exchange of information and ensuring that knowledge and expertise is recognised and distributed through newsletters and bulletins.

To be successful in this position, you will have prior experience in a similar Comms Officer capacity, with experience of the following:
*Working with colleagues and customers to create communication plans.
*Creating and distributing communications material including newsletters and e-bulletins.
*Excellent stakeholder management experience

Experience gained within public sector environments would be advantageous, but not essential.
