Are you looking for your next SQL DBA contract? I have an exciting opportunity in Leicester working with in the education sector as a SQL DBA.

Scope of work

As the SQL DBA contractor you will be joining a team of BI Specialist such as a BI Developers, SQL Developers, and other DBA's. The reason this role has come about is down to the busy exam period. As more exam results are being entered in to the system and being calculated the demand is much more intense.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues with in the MS SQL Database and the maintenance and upkeep of the database is critical during this busy period.

Team

You will be working very closely with the database manager and other DBA's in the team there is a possibility this will turn in to more than one role and could potentially be a duel hire. There are two DBA's on site that you will be working with.
