Job Title: Year End AccountantEmployer: NHS Acute TrustLocation: LondonRate: £ per dayContract: 4-6 monthsReal Staffing are recruiting on behalf of an NHS Acute Trust which requires an experienced interim Year End Accountant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for technically strong financial accountant to build on recent NHS experience leading up to a key period of the financial calendar.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing control accounts
- Calculating capital expenditure
- Analyse transactions
- Maintain and review the fixed asset register
- Foundation Trust consolidations
- Producing draft accounts from FTCs
- Ad-hoc closedown support
- Supporting the Head of Financial Accounts
- Act as main point of contact for internal and external audit queries.
Essential skills and experience:
- NHS Acute experience
- CCAB part qualified
- Good communication skills
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
