Description
Skills: C, C++, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python, Software, HardwareI am seeking and electronics engineer/software developer will be responsible for evolving an innovative product proposition from a proof of concept to actual product using software and some hardware design.
A knowledge of serial communications over RS232/USB or IP is a key requirement is required.
Your role:
> Develop the product to operate in the four use cases defined in the project to commercial implementation.
> Working with the R&D Director and other software teams, define and develop a specific set of innovative mini-tools to facilitate expansion of our business offerings to Tourists.
> Must be a proven experimenter with a curious disposition.
> Must be able to take an agile approach to target delivery outcomes.
> Actively participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional requirements.
> Lead technical analysis, design and development activities.
> Produce high quality code and unit test deliverables, and assist in integration and acceptance testing efforts.
> Provide timely and effective communication to management, relating to quality, resource and project issues
Knowledge & Experience:
> Must be inspired with MCU's Hardware/Software innovation & Arduino/Raspberry Pi/MCU's
> Must have 2 to 5 years' experience of embedded software/hardware design & development.
> Must have the necessary technical experience - ANSI C/C++ /Arduino/Python/I2C
> Knowledge of RS232 / USB serial communications.
> Practical hardware experience
> Must have ability to learn new architectures/applications quickly.
> Must display the ability to take ownership of tasks & projects and deliver to a high quality standard.
> Competent in laying out circuit schematics to link IC's.
> Proven experience in delivering innovative hardware/software solutions.
> Creative problem solver and innovator with skills to identify and diagnose problems.
