Role - Capability Framework Consultant

Duration - 3 months

Location - Swindon

Main Purpose of the Job

Provide expert consultancy and facilitation to support the design of divisional specific capability frameworks in line with agreed structure and principles.

Key accountabilities

  • Research internal/external best practice and existing frameworks to identify input and fit

  • Proactive stakeholder/client management - build relationships across a range of levels, manage stakeholder expectations

  • Set up and facilitate workshops to develop engagement amongst the target population and elicit information to support framework design

  • Analyse information and draw conclusions

  • Draw insight from conclusions and design frameworks

  • Deliver content to agreed standard and timescales

  • Track and record information (eg version control, feedback, action logs)

  • Produce business documents (eg slides, reports, internal communications)

  • Subject Matter expert on development of framework

  • Design of framework, identifying required capabilities, knowledge and behaviours within the agreed timescales of the specific project (likely c 6 months)

  • Principles of organisational design/development

  • Facilitation/coaching techniques

  • Project management tools

  • Change management

  • Business acumen and commercial/strategic thinking
