Communication Manager - London

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in London as a Communication Manager.

The role holder will be required to:

  • This role is to support the GBM regulatory portfolio by providing excellent communications to our clients, both internally (GBM staff) and externally, as part of the global regulatory portfolio communications programme.
  • This role reports to the Head of the GBM Regulatory Portfolio Management Function.
  • Managing senior stakeholders and gathering pertinent information from key sources.
  • You will provide guidance to the different Programme teams on how best to communicate both internally with interested parties and with their external clients.
  • Use of our communication methodology to ensure consistency and alignment (where appropriate) to any existing or forthcoming Group standards (eg Branding).
  • Review and editing of updates/communications received from programme teams.
  • These will often require re-writing in a manner that is understandable by readers who are not familiar with a given regulation.
  • Defining and documenting procedures
  • Supporting Regulatory Programmes with the delivery of client and internal communications.
  • This will include; EMIR Clearing, Dodd-Frank Volcker Rule, FATCA, Trade Reporting among other regulations.

Key skills/experience:


  • Must have at least 6 years experience working as an Communications Manager
  • Extensive Internal Communication experience
  • Extensive Regulatory change experience
  • Strong experience of change communication
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sharepoint experience would be advantageous
