Description:This individual would be an extension of the existing Change Manager group. This individual would be the secondary contact for those seeking assistance with change related questions
Responsibilities
Change Request:
- Review submitted change controls for adherence to change process.
- Provide guidance and training to change users regarding change process and change request creation/execution.
- Reviews submitted change requests and perform approvals as necessary as appropriate based on change categories that are deemed approvable by this role.
- Follow up with change owners regarding missing information.
- Perform follow up for changes that experienced issues during execution.
- Share best practices, and continually alter guidance on same, based on learnings from above and common issues or questions or trends.
- Attend the bi-weekly Enterprise CAB meetings as available.
- Will be trained to be a CAB moderator to serve as a backup if needed or during periods when other Change Managers are out of the office or involved in business related travel.
- Assist with extending CAB communications to regional resources.
- Attend the bi-weekly TRB meetings if requested as a backup or during periods when other Change Managers are out of the office or involved in business related travel.
- Change managers provide guidance to the TRB on the change process as required.
- Participate with the other Change Managers and the Change Process Manager for process improvement initiatives within the change process, the ServiceNow tool, and supporting change process documentation.
Basic Skills/Experience:
- Attention to detail.
- Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure in server, and storage and network domains.
- Should have good attention to detail, strive for efficiency and be anxious to learn more.
- Previous change control experience.
- Quality/compliance documentation experience.
- Previous audit experience would be beneficial.
