Looking for a SharePoint Developer with strong development experience in order to support and enhance the suite of applications maintained by the Business Systems section. The primary areas of work will be with configuration and extension of the SharePoint 2013 farm and bespoke .NET applications.

Possibility of 2 positions available for the right fit candidates.

The typical duties of this position include:

  • Understanding and able to develop in the clients SharePoint Farms systems;
  • Applications development and maintenance, including contributing to technical designs for key initiatives for the client.
  • Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior IT staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Adhere to the clients processes, policies and procedures on appropriate governance guidance and adherence to relevant standards.
  • May be required to undertake interstate travel.

The successful candidate will also participate in major upcoming projects such as the replacement/refresh of the client's core business systems and integration of Back End systems into a customer focused Portal.

The successful candidate will also have the following:

  • Knowledge and experience in software development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical designs for applications
  • Demonstrated practical experience and knowledge in application development with experience in the following:

- SharePoint 2010 and 2013

- Visual Studio.NET

- .NET Frameworks

- C#

- ASP.NET

- Web Services (XML/ASP.NET web services or WCF)

  • Demonstrated ability in communicating complex technical information/concepts to a range of stakeholders, including proven experience:
  • Liaising and negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability in effectively organising work and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Any relevant tertiary IT qualifications or Microsoft certifications are considered highly desirable.
