WordPress Programmer (longterm contract)

Description

We are seeking an experienced, serious and highly dedicated WP developer for a long-term contract role that could lead to f/t or shares our firm.

The contract compensation is $25/hour (USD) for 15-hours per week.

Mandatory requirements:

English is your first language and you are located in North America or Europe.

Work regular consistent hours scheduled in advance. Exact schedule negotiable, generally If in North America, the best fit is to have the schedule of 10AM-1PM EST. If in Europe, you’ll work with our CET based schedule.

Experienced in GIT and multiple stage deployment, experience in Jira or similar ticket system.

At least 3-years of plugin development experience and able to demonstrate previous plugins built

Able to work with themes and do HTML/CSS work when needed (though our focus is plugins, functionality).

Business savvy, good communication skills, cooperative with team members and highly professional with clients

Nice to have’s:

Ambition to have a portfolio of awesome plugins and own shares in their revenue or the company that built them

Willing to sacrifice some short-term pay scale for long-term business opportunity

No excuses, finds ways to make things work and thinks about solutions

Some experience with marketing or design in terms of being able to work with marketing goals and designers
