WEB DEVELOPER, CONTRACT, MILTON KEYNES, 3/6 MONTHSI am currently working with a large financial services client who are looking to build a full development team for a green field project which is looking to build a a replacement for their point of sale system.
I am looking for talented FULL STACK web developers to join this team.
You will be working in Agile/Scrum methodology and will communicate with other staff from all of the UK and Europe to complete the build, enhancing existing functionality whilst creating new functionality within the platform.
MAIN SKILLS:
Solid C# .NET development skills with demonstrable experience of:
- A firm understanding of SOLID principals and their important in day to day development activities.
- Substantial experience in defining application architecture as well as communicating architectural vision and building consensus among other developers
- Passionate about software design.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills at all levels; both technically and non-technically
- A good understanding of API design.
- Understands the importance of team dynamics and helps to unify ideas and opinions - both within the team and the wider organisation
- ASP.NET MVC
- T-SQL
- Knowledge and practical application of design patterns and Object Oriented systems design
ADVANTEGEOUS
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design.
- Experience of working within an Agile (SCRUM, LEAN, XP) environment.
- Able to create Behaviour Driven Design test specifications
- A good working knowledge of OO JavaScript and experience of working with popular frameworks, primarily Knockout.JS, JQuery and any AMD library.
- Experience of creating web services using WCF.
- Experience of working with Fluent nHibernate, or another ORM, for persisting data.
- Experience of working with Oracle.
- Exposure to TeamCity or another continuous integration tool.
- Exposure to Octopus Deploy or another automated deployment tool.
- Experience of working within a Financial Services environment.
- Ability to prioritize, self-manage and to work effectively with others.
