Description
Looking to find a quality Front-end Web Developer for a full-time/6 month to permanent position with one of our clients. The client is a top multinational corporation located in the East Bay/Tri Valley area east of San Francisco. In this position you will be a full-time/hourly employee (paid as a W-2) with our web development company working for this specific client. The position will be primarily remote/telecommute (work from home), however some work may need to be completed on-site at the client's East Bay or San Francisco offices. Equipment (laptop/software) will be provided.
Job Description
The position will involve maintaining and building web sites for both the client's external facing web sites as well as for their intranet. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web sites involving HTML, CSS and Javascript/jQuery. You will work alongside the client's team of producers, back-end programmers, as well as other front-end developers.
Required Skills
Frameworks: ASP.NET, Bootstrap, jQuery
Languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/jQuery
Tools: Visual Studio, TFS/VSS, Photoshop
Proficient in front-end coding, accessibility standards
Experience developing for mobile platforms/responsive design (iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, etc...)
Good communications skills and fluency in English
U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents only
Preferred Skills
SASS/LESS, C#, VB.NET, AJAX, JSON, XML/XSLT
Other Javascript Frameworks (AngularJS, Ember.JS)
Familiarity with social network APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
