A Senior Digital Design Engineer is required by a global leading microelectronics organisation in The Netherlands, on a contract to permanent basis. My client is a successful leader in developing low power mixed-signal integrated circuits. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers.Job Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Design Engineer will define the digital system requirements specification and translate it into a digital system architecture, including block level specifications.
The Senior Digital Design Engineer should be able to technically guide the design team through the implementation, verification and documentation phase of the project life cycle.
A good knowledge of signal processing is required as well as a thorough understanding of the digital design flow.
Also the Senior Digital Design Engineer should still be eager to design, implement and verify on block and IC level.
Skills Requirements
• MSc or PhD with more than 4 years of experience as Digital IC Design Engineer, followed by a period of at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Digital Design Engineer or Digital IC Architect.
• Experienced in setting up digital system and block level specifications and working out architecture.
• Track record of technically leading design teams.
• Experience in designing IP and IC designs containing digital filters, DSP cores, peripherals is an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Analytical, pragmatic and driven personality.
