Senior IT Buyer
We are looking for Senior IT Buyer for one of our client in utility industry. The initial contract is for 3 months with possibility of extension.
Your experience:
Hands-on, project management skills,
Good analytical skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
5 + years in IT procurement, mainly in the field of software implementation
Knowledge of SAP MM
English and French/Dutch
Your tasks:
Formulating, implementing, communicating and enforcing compliance with the strategic acquisition with the aim of reducing the "Total Cost of Ownership";
Development of procurement procedures and resources to support the implementation of the purchasing policy to ensure the efficient operation of the procurement service.
Centralizing all purchasing activities of the company in the purchasing department, providing a quality service and a real added value to internal customers;
Maintaining relationships with suppliers, in particular provide a key account management to suppliers and act as a mediator and facilitator between internal customers and suppliers to achieve the optimum result of the company
Advising and guiding the internal customer in determining the purchasing needs within his/her department and translate them into a set of specifications;
Selecting vendors, negotiating proposals and assigning contracts with compliance of internal rules and procurement guidelines in mind;
Contract management of framework agreements already in place: follow up, adjust if necessary ...
Evaluating the quality of the performance of the suppliers in cooperation with the internal customer;
Conducting market studies
