Our client is a travel agency mainly focussed on business travel. They bring there customers from A to B in the perfect conditions while offering the perfect trip. Thanks to their global presence in more than 150 countries and their international management, they are one of the top players in the travel sector.
As a freelance cognos developer you will become part of an existing team of developers working on one of the greater internal projects. We are looking exclusive for 3 developers with knowledge of the cognos 10.2 software.
You will support the team with their main project, rebuilding the client reporting interface. This to make sure that all the data from the 36.000 end users, in the Oracle DB and Cognos data warehouse are available and ready to be transferred into reports, qubes and dashboards.
You have 2 or 3 years of experience, working with Cognos 10.2
You know how to extract data out of an Oracle 11g DB
You have experience with ETL
You are an expert in the deep functionalities of the Cognos BI tool
Knowledge of Javascript is a plus
Experience with dynamic cube modelling, query tweaking and performance tweaking is a strong plus
You have a bachelor's degree
You can work independently
You are able to support different EU-languages
You are a strong communicator
You are English speaking
