Functional SAP BI Technical Expert
System Dynamics is looking for a mid to senior level functional consultant to join our client based project on contract for a period of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of functional experience working as a SAP BI technical expert. The candidate will need strong consulting skills; be someone who can adapt to different environments; and has strong communication and technical skills. The ideal candidate should have gone through at least two full SAP life cycles - from blueprinting to realization. The candidate must be able to perform configuration in BI.
Skills: SAP Certification in SAP BI
Location: Dublin City Centre, Ireland
Role: To provide implementation and consulting services in BI to client. To also provide user support in application area of BI and to take direction from the BI team lead.
Key Skills:
- The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of SAP BI 7.0/7.3
- A strong knowledge of SAP BI Datamodelling, Integrated Planning and Forecasting and high level architecture design.
- The candidate will also have experience in BEx reporting and query development
- Experience in BI configuration and mapping of business processes and data into meaningful business KPIs as Data warehousing and data mart design experience
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in BI, and strong knowledge of ECC 6 and integration to BI. The candidate should demonstrate strong organisational and project management skills. He/she will communicate with Senior Management regarding which Dashboards and KPI`s the company should meet.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in the following criteria
- Minimum of 5 years SAP implementation expertise specifically in the BI module and a minimum of 2 full project implementation life cycles
- Demonstration of the candidates previous project management skills including setting up a project, running a project, controlling change, risk management, managing people aspects, and planning and monitoring a project
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of FI and CO but also experience of Purchasing, Inventory, PM, PS, FI, CO, AP
- Applicants must have SAP Certification in BI module and/or demonstrate a depth of industry experience in BI.
- Demonstration of expertise in the area of Integrated Planning
- Demonstration of expertise in the area of Forecasting
- Expertise in development of reporting specifically with BEx Workbooks and WAD
- Applicants must have General Modelling Skills
