Description
CISCO Build Engineers
Qualified CISCO UC Build Engineer required at Client site to build the Demo and Trial Hosted UC solutions for Customers of Tier-1 Service Provider with Single Site in each customer build.
Engineer shall be required to perform:
- Gather requirements scope and information for the Customer Trials and Demo build
- Track and manage configuration completion with the Provisioning team
- Complete a static Config. build
- Perform a security check on the build
- Order and take delivery of SIMs and Fixed DDI from local OpCo with support and help from VGE
- Add user data to build (SIMs, Users, Devices etc)
- Complete a basic test script to confirm technical staging is operational
- Collect relevant hardware/devices from storage in Bracknell
- Plug and test fixed devices, Jabber mobile and desktop, VONE Mobile
- Ensure gateway is connected to remote ASA
- Perform final set-up and testing via documented UAT plan
- Complete all project documentation
- Perform formal handover to OPs for instance support
- Perform formal handover to Trial Manager to complete activity
- Remote and Field Support
Documentation deliverable includes:
- Weekly Progress Dashboard
- Agreed scope and design for each customer
- LLD to Operations for each customer build
- Operational and User Guide
- Setup Guide for CISCO 3G Routers, IP Phone, Jabber Desktop & Mobile for each customer
- Subscriber Information, Demo setup and call procedures for each customer
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Good engineering experience of implementation, provisioning, deployment and solution design for Tier-1 service provider for Telecommunication in the area of enterprise solution, hosted unified communication solution and services
- Preferred Experience with Tier-1 Service Provider and premium Telco Vendor
- Experience in IN, VAS, IMS, IPTV, IPT, VOIP, Fixed and Mobile Telephony, FMC, Multimedia Recording, Conferencing - Video and Audio
Experience and Expertise in CISCO UNIFIED COMMUNICATION MANAGER, UNITY VOICEMAIL, PRESENCE & IM, CONTACT CENTRE, CISCO ICM, VERINT Call Recorder - Proficient and Skilled on Telco Protocol - SIP, SIGTRAN, SS7, RTP, MGCP, H.248, Diameter, Radius, TCP/UDP. IPv4/IPv6
- Experience in OSS/BSS and its integration/implementation in Live Network
Performance Benchmarking - Good Communication skills - Must be fluent in English - both verbal and written.
- Capable of producing quality documentation like TRS, BRS, Roadmap, Strategy, Commercial Model & Benefits, Dashboards
- Conduct and chair peer reviews, customer requirements analysis
- May have Travel Requirements in APAC and Europe.
