Description

The Consultant Self Service will be a part of the WPS (work place services) product management team (approximately 10 FTEs) where he/she actively cooperates with the SelfService product manager and the Marketing & Communications team (2 FTE). The Consultant SelfService will work more actively with all other WPS colleagues.

General knowledge/experience
Knowledge of SelfService, Marketing and Communications EPS services; Academic (intellectual/work-level); Knowledge of SelfService, Marketing and Communications WPS

Technical knowledge/experience:
Current knowledge of web technologies and content management systems (Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and Sitecore). Experience with user interaction design relating to a self-service concept and a self-service portal in the IT services area. Verifiable experience of managing external (design) agencies

Competences technical knowledge:

Academic intellectual & work-level; verifiable experience on managing external design agencies;

Languages:

Written and spoken fluency in Dutch & English

Asignment
The current WPS MyWorkPlace portal will have to undergo a renovation to enable Self-Service. The desired self service concept should be developed from a vision into a concrete user interaction design and user interface design. Based on the designs and other requirements and demands, a choice will be made for user interaction design and the underlying technology after which the implementation project will start for the renewal of MyWorkPlace. The Consultant SelfService portal will play a leading role substantially, and will mold and steer the project.

Work Place Services (WPS) provides standard workplace services to the client worldwide. Next year WPS will deliver the next generation workplace to simplify collaboration between employees worldwide. The NG WP revolves around maximum user-friendliness and optimal collaboration in a safe, reliable and cost-effective way. Via a MyWorkPlace portal, users will be encouraged to 'do-it-yourself' wherever possible (a strong focus on Self Service and Self Provisioning), and to minimize contact with the ICT Service Desk. To achieve this goal, the current MyWorkPlace portal should be renewed.
