Description
A leading provider of injectable drugs is currently seeking 4 Production/ Manufacturing Managers for their sterile manufacturing facility in India. The new facility, which will include six filling lines and visual inspection equipment, has entered part commercial production in 2014 and will ramp-up over the following 2 years.The Manufacturing Managers will be responsible for managing one of six high speed, sterile filling lines at various phases of commercial start-up. The sterile facility is moving from start-up to operational readiness and therefore having previous start-up experience within a sterile environment will be a benefit.
Requirements
• Experience of working within a high speed fill / finish manufacturing facility
• High speed filling line and inspection machine drug manufacturing experience
• Proven ability of leading sterile drug manufacturing operations
• Experience of working with project teams to bring manufacturing lines into commercial operation
• Strong practical interest and a hands on approach
• Experience in a GMP facility or with GMP projects
• Patience and perseverance are very important skills to have, due to the location
• Acceptance of working a 6 week-on/1 week-off work cycle (some negotiation may be possible)
Nice to Have
• Having worked in a foreign location and strong cultural awareness will be beneficial
• Start-up project experience
• One site, multiple sterile filling line experience
• Previous experience of implementing 24/7 manufacturing programmes
