An exciting opportunity is available in Alicante for an IS Security Architect
This position is with an IT company working at a client in the Public Sector.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Education and experience:
- University diploma/degree;
- A minimum of 10 years Full time professional experience in the field of IT;
- Knowledge and proven experience of at least 5 years in IT Security;
- Experience in network security in environments with a high security level, as banking;
- Experience in implementation of PKI solutions.
Skills and knowledge:
- Be well-organised, able to manage the time and perfectly capable or working with clients and team members;
- Must be responsible, flexible and able to take decisions;
- Experience in IT project management will constitute an advantage;
- Network security, perimeter defence tools: IDS/IPS, Reverse Proxy;
- SOA implementation, particularly security aspects;
- Knowledge of the ISO27001 standard.
Languages:
- Good level of spoken and written English.
Tasks:
- Support to IT Security projects defined in the client's program of the Strategic Plan -mainly those related to improve the level of Security on the client's Network Architecture-, driven by self-initiative, audits and/or IT Architecture requests;
- Provide IT Services for IT Architecture & IT Development - to determine the classification of IT Systems relevant to our IT Security Standards (defined by IT Security Officer - ISO 27001);
- Work closely with IT Development and IT Architecture services;
- Monthly monitoring of the IT Environments;
- Provide IT Services for IT IOS-QC - to ensure correct application of IT Security Standards;
- Perform the relevant IT Security audits to ensure the correct implementation of the IT Security Policies (and ensure that recommendations of given audits are followed-up appropriately);
- To recommend the necessary improvements to ensure IT Service Continuity in the event of a disaster or something similar.
This position is offered as a freelance (autonomo) contract. Start date: February/March.
