ECS Group are currently recruiting for an IT Lecturer with knowledge of Computer Systems Development to be based in Mansfield (Kirkby-in-Ashfield)

This role would suit an experienced IT Lecturer who is looking for a new role which offers recognition for skills & service as well as career development and training opportunities.
* Up to £24.00 p/h based on experience + Training and Benefits.*
As an IT Lecturer, you will be delivering the following BTEC/OCR courses;
* Edexcel BTEC HND Computer Systems Development (level 4/5).*
Topics include;
- Multimedia Design
- Object Oriented Programming (Web concepts)
- Software Applications Testing
- Office Solutions Development
- Some element of systems and networking
Essential Criteria
- Hold a teaching qualification (ie PGCE, PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert.Ed. 7307 or similar)
- Have some industry knowledge of computer software and networking
- Have delivered, coached or trained in a classroom environment
- Be flexible with daily timetables
Responsibilities;
- Deliver and train the IT curriculum in both the classroom and Lab environment in-line with the above curriculum
- Gather evidence, assess progress, observe work practises and update learner records
- Provide 1-2-1 learner support when required
- Act as a tutor to learners, providing academic guidance and support.
- When required, support curriculum development
- Undertake further training and development where necessary
