Mortgage Project manager- Back Office migration and mortgage servicing- Contract 450-600ppd - Essex- 9 months +

My client is looking for a Project manager to be accountable for the Back Office mortgage servicing and migration to a new environment. The successful candidate will have experience of full life cycle project management experience with mortgage migration and Back Office mortgage servicing experience. Additionally they will have good third party supplier management experience and a recent proven track record in delivery from a mortgage environment.

Key accountabilities

  • Successful delivery to time, scope and budget
  • Develop and baseline a project plan
  • Ensure dependencies are identified and tracked
  • Proactive management of risks and issues ensuring these are resolved or escalated as appropriate
  • Liaise with impacted areas and across all work streams to ensure that a high level of effective communication is maintained throughout the project life cycle
  • Provide the appropriate progress updates to the Programme Manager, project sponsor and other key stakeholders through informal or formal channels.
  • Develop close working relationships with the Programme Manager and suppliers
  • Ensure project milestones are completed effectively and subsequently reviewed
  • Adherence to project governance, company standards and audit processes
  • Liaise with 3rd parties and assure complementary plans are maintained

This candidate must have recent experience (last 6 months) of mortgage servicing and Back Office experience from a mortgages perspective as well as mortgage migration experience.
