Senior Functional Analyst - Fund Administration, Financial Services, Transfer Agency
My client, a leading global financial institution are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to join their team for an initial 11 month contract based in Luxembourg.
The primary activities of the role are:
- Provide expertise on application functionality and usage
- Trouble-shoot issues and defects; find acceptable workarounds
- Support end-users (ie testers) during testing activities
- Analyse and interpret business and system requirements specifications
- Coordinate requirement reviews and requirements traceability
- Prepare/update test scripts
- Perform functional & regression tests and update test logs
- Organise and coordinate User acceptance tests (UAT)
- Keep application and project documentation up-to-date
Technical skills:
- Experience as a business analyst or similar analytical role may constitute an advantage
- Computer literacy - competent with MS Office
- Good knowledge of or work experience within IT (application support, service delivery or application development)
- Understanding of project management methodology and software development life cycle methodology
- Information Security fundamentals
Business Knowledge
- Good level of knowledge or experience of fund administration and financial services, in particular in the area of transfer agency
