My Client is recruiting for an experienced C&I Engineer. The company is a well known, recognised leading brand in there market and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a market leading business.
Deliver (& support development of) maintenance strategy for their discipline area, planning, co-ordination & delivery of minor outages including the provision of contract specifications/tendering and associated contract management.
To do so within resource and financial guidelines to ensure the operation, engineering health, integrity and performance of the asset in a safe, efficient and compliant manner, in coordination with the Maintenance Strategy Team and the Production department, maximising the commercial benefit to CLIENT.
Experience in DCS systems, ideally Siemens T3000, Teleperm ME (EA & EHF) Simadyn D and all aspects of field instrumentation.
Maintenance Delivery C&I Engineer Deliver (and support the development of) maintenance strategy
. Undertake proactive and reactive work, including fault finding and/or investigation on a broad range of process plant and systems, in support of performance against Key Performance Indicators, long term asset integrity and compliance with all relevant CLIENT policies and statutory legislation.
. Improve the efficiency & effectiveness of maintenance strategy in line with TriGas strategy and best practice including:
o Master Data for assets, activities, strategies and zero-base budgets
o Technical history recording (SAP, PT-Risk, ARNIE etc.) and analysis
o Review and improvement of data and processes
o Recording of and action to improve performance against Key Performance Indicators and business plan
o Drive and embed quality systems via the Maintenance Management Programme process as per CLIENT policy Deliver and Manage Outages
* Lead all short term outages, including but not limited to Combustion Chamber Inspections, Borescope Inspections and Minor outages and support the planning, co-ordination and delivery of all outages. Draw upon the knowledge and experience of other Engineers and Operators
* Deliver safely and to programme, budget and quality.
* Plan and deliver outages in the spirit of the Outage Best Practice handbook. Contract Management
* Production of contract specifications to support tendering process and contract placement.
* Subsequent management of these contracts in full compliance with defined contract roles and nominations.
As a part of all activities and in line with CLIENT policies and legal requirements:
* Actively promote a culture of health, safety, environmental awareness and quality; seek out improvements in all these areas and directly contribute to their development, planning and delivery for TriGas and CLIENT.
* Ensure best practice is employed by networking and benchmarking comparisons with other departments, plants, engineers, industries and CLIENT teams (Fleet Management Centre, CLIENT New Build and Technology, CLIENT Anlagenservice) to achieve optimum levels of performance, revenue and capital expenditure. Although site based you will, on occasions, be required and willing to respond to business needs on an emergency or requirement basis and to operate across TriGas.
* Carry out all duties according to delegated financial authorities within the SAP system and nominated authorities for contract management.
* Undertake a risk-based approach (safety, environmental, commercial) to inform the line manager where appropriate
* Implement and suggest improvements to the Maintenance Strategy.
* Implement improvements from root cause investigations and audit.
