The Client
Our client a leading UK based volunteer charity are looking to appoint an interim Director of finance for roughly 7 months.

The Interim Assignment
The role will be to lead the organisations group finance function through the organisations year end and a new system upgrade. The role will also include the mentoring and training of the CEO on financial issues and the complexities of funding streams while also the up skilling of the senior team on taking financial accountability. While there main finance team is only 5 strong the organisation is national and multisited with each site taking responsibility for their reporting. The successful interim will also be tasked with introducing a new budgeting process, will be expected to look at a process redesign and also lead the organisations IT offering.

The Interim Manager
Applicants must have experience of working as a finance director in the charity sector, preference will be given to candidates that have worked with complex funding streams and understand the volunteer sector. Applicants would also benefit from having experience of dealing with contracts in regards to a property disposal.
