Storage Specialist with NetApp, EMC, Active Directory, Linux required to join a prominent organisation based in the Hague, the Netherlands. The rolle offers an attractive hourly rate of €65,- per hour.

Technical Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Good Exposure to Storage Technologies
- Operational support experience with NetApp and/or EMC Isilon Storage.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and DFS
- Infrastructure hosting skills focused on the Redhat Linux OS and/or Windows
- Linux and/or Windows System management experience
- Good knowledge of NAS, Network Attached Storage, in particular NFS and CIFS protocols
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows file permissions
- Pro-active attitude - propose and execute technical and service related improvements.
- Customer focused and pro-active attitude - enjoy customer facing, taking end-to-end
responsibility.
- Be able to work with various specialized multinational support teams to bring complex
requests or problems to timely resolution.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- In-depth analytical and troubleshooting skills on a variety of platforms.
- Open to new challenges and good adaptability to various technical environments
- Strong willingness to learn, improve and share knowledge
Soft Skills and Experience
Nice-to-have/preferred:
- Experience participating in a virtual team of people delivering services/projects
- Experience in multinational/multicultural enterprise.
About the Role
Project or Activity Description:
Support the global Technical Storage infrastructure across more than 20 locations for
Subsurface applications used by Exploration and Production professionals.
Main activities:
- Close working relationship with the end users and IT outsourced suppliers to deliver a
stable end to end service
- End to End problem management and monitoring across the storage environment.
- Support the infrastructure directly or in close cooperation with outsource service
provider
