New contract opportunity - Credit Risk Production manager - 6 month initial contract - 500 p/d - Leeds
Description:
A top tier bank is seeking a Credit Risk Production manager to work within their Global Analytics Unit on an initial 6 month contract. The role would mean leading and managing a team of data and process experts responsible for deployment and running of key credit risk processes for PCB Modelling and Risk while building and developing relationships with key stakeholders across Risk, business and technology teams to understand their needs and goals.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive knowledge of SAS, rational databases (Oracle, Teradata) Unix, Tivoli and other analytical toolsets.
- Experience in consumer credit risk analytics across customer life cycle, impairment, Basel II
- Extensive experience in managing and co-ordinating teams owning production type processes within analytic environments
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships across business users, governance, project teams and technology.
- Knowledge of retail financial services portfolios.
- Familiarity with modelling/analytical techniques and their value in business
- Team, project and stakeholder management experience
Preferably:
- Senior stakeholder management experience - CROs & business leaders
- Degree in engineering, IT or other numeric discipline
- Experience in team leading and managing colleague performance
- Experience working within a governance control framework including Sarbanes-Oxley
