QxMD is growing, and we're looking for an Intermediate/Senior Front End Developer (i.e., jQuery, Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, WinJS) who really takes pride in enhancing a project -- making it amazing, not just simply completing it. We are looking for an interactivity enthusiast, obsessed with the presentation layer of the project. If you catch yourself in Adobe After Effects because sometimes your ideas are just too grand for HTML5 and JavaScript, we want to talk.
Our new hire will join a team of creative designers and developers to plan and execute some pretty awesome projects.
Our ideal candidate will:
Have 4+ years of Web development experience or a portfolio that nullifies this statement.Have excellent HTML, CSS and Javascript/jQuery skills.Have excellent custom CMS platform skills (WordPress theming, customization and functionality).Use HTML5 APIs in mobile and desktop browser environments.Develop responsive design interfaces that work across different devices and browsers.Understanding of MVC architectures in the web spaceHave the ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.Have experience wire-framing and UI/UX mapping for web and mobile applications.
