Infrastructure solutions architect, Linux, Windows, Cloud, LEAN, Blade, Hyper V.
We are currently searching for an infrastructure solutions architect that can design, develop and implement IT infrastructure solutions globally across multiple platforms aligning the infrastructure to business needs.
You will work in a highly dynamic and global IT environment in which we operate Windows, Linux and Solaris Servers in more than 25 countries. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with server platforms designs and implementations and be able to engineer mixed Windows & Linux environments.. You can design, setup and evaluate proof of concepts, perform research and function as the infrastructure engineering authority in RFP processes.
Required experience:
*At least a Bachelor degree in Computer Science
*At least 5 years of networking and systems experience in a similar role
*Sound knowledge of Windows and Red Hat Linux infrastructures
*Good conceptual understanding of cloud infrastructures
*CISSP certification is preferable not required
*Experience with Windows Server R2/2012; Windows Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; IIS; Apache; IT Security; RHEL; Red Hat Satellite; Experience with Centrify is preferred not required.
*Proven experience with global infrastructure designs and deployments
Required knowledge of:
*Converged computing; Blade server technology
*You are able to demonstrate sound IT security knowledge as well as work in a LEAN environment
*Hypervisors like Hyper-V, Xen/KVM and VMWare
*Distributed infrastructures
*Storage solutions like DAS, NAS, SAN and storage networks like FC, iSCSI and FCoE
*Conceptual knowledge of Database systems and components (Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server)
