Context:
The person selected will mainly develop services and frameworks for several Portals and B2B. He/she will also probably be called to participate to its further evolution. Development is here intended not only as pure software implementation but it includes activities such as production of technical notes, implementation of unit tests, and refactoring.
Activities:
oDesign, development and maintenance of the CUA, CHMI, B2B and Portal applications.
oOn-call support for about 3-4 weeks a year during the applications migration.
oDevelopment and maintenance of unit test frameworks, unit tests for the software components and software frameworks.
oPrototyping of new architecture or features
oParticipate to the analysis of the changes
Requirements
Skills - must haves
oExperience in Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming
oExtensive Java knowledge
oExtensive Swing knowledge
oExtensive GUI design experience
oExperience in B2B web services
oExperience in design and development of optimized Java code, performance tuning, multithreaded applications and memory management
oExperience in Application Server BEA Weblogic or similar
oExperience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse
oExperience in the mission critical application development
