My Client who are a leading name in their field are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them.
Role:
Leading the review of a key business process within the Electricity System Operator. The successful candidate will drive for a full understanding of the end to end process, identifying all significant risks and control requirements. This review will also identify accounting requirements, improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Undertake end to end process review
- Identify all key financial process steps including all inputs, outputs, relationships and interfaces
- Understand and document key risks associated with end to end process
- Highlight controls in place to mitigate risk and assess effectiveness of these controls
- Part of review will include review of all accounting transactions in relation to the process
- Assessment of appropriateness of accounting transactions
- Prepare regular management briefings
- Present final findings to management
- Seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
- Identify performance measures appropriate to the business and process
- Put in place corrective action planning and support implementation
Qualifications/Experience:
- ACA qualified accountant or equivalent
- Audit experience required
