12month contract in Peterborough
A mechanical design engineer is required to join a world leader in the design of components for diesel engines. This team delivers multiple projects designing and developing components in Creo and Pro-e from conception to production.
Key responsibilities
Creating designs using Creo or Pro Engineer for the design of engine and after treatment components.
Structural analysis and ability to analyse designs is crucial.
Key skills
*Casting and fabrication
*Analysis
*Design concepts
*Pro-E, Creo or Pro-Mechanica
*High level of communication and technical understanding
Preferred:
* Engine component design experience
* Project planning experience
Commutable: Peterborough, Stamford, Wisbech, Market Deeping, Corby, Cambridge and Bedford.
