PR Manager (B2C) - 6 Month + Contract - Slough
A B2C PR Manager is required for an initial 6 month contract working for a leading consumer focused communications company in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning team and be a part of their consumer focused PR campaigns.
We are looking for an experienced PR Manager to deliver best in class PR and cut-through consumer campaigns, you will be tasked with delivering a consistent and compelling message, 'consumerising' technology and targeting mainstream audiences.
You will work with PR agencies and internal teams to run a smooth and efficient function, delivering a constant steam of coverage, both reactive and proactive. The biggest challenge will be to understand and interpret the technology and deliver in an understandable way to the customer, so a technical PR background would be an advantage.
This position will be based in our clients head office, however one day a week will be spent at the agency based in London. We are looking for someone who is creative, outgoing and confident, someone who is happy to work as part of a team, who is driven and has excellent attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Experience gained in-house or agency PR experience
- Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns
- Excellent media relations skills/contacts
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to produce and present compelling presentations and reports
