Fraud Research Manager
Banking client in Northampton require a Fraud Research Manager/Change Manager to work on a 9 months contract paying £500/day.
This role focuses on supporting the growth of the bank's loans business in Germany, Spain and Portugal. The role will be based in Northampton with no plans of any travel to Europe.
Responsibilities:
*Understand the tools available to manage application fraud (first and third party) in each market
*Ensure that the requirements of the Fraud Strategy team are Embedded at appropriate stage of the customer life cycle
*Represent the fraud strategy team in key project workshops (eg business requirements definition and user acceptance testing)
*Provide ad-hoc project based support to ensure that the bank has a robust control environment around the booking of new loans
Role Breakdown:
Market Analysis - 50%
*Research application fraud tools and data available in each market to allow the construction of robust fraud strategies to control application fraud
*Competitor analysis to benchmark competitor offerings
Stakeholder management - 10%
*Liaise closely with stakeholders across Credit Risk Office and also work with German and Iberian colleagues in appropriate functions to ensure Credit Risk is supporting the business to achieve business goals.
*Ensure that Fraud Senior Management are fully engaged, understand and are supportive of the planned growth initiatives.
Participation in projects - 40%
*Ensure that the requirements of the fraud team are built into every stage of the customer life cycle.
