Description
Enterprise Partners is working with a leading IT Consultancy to select a Senior Data Architect
- Determine target architecture for operational and analytical reporting and their feedings, i.c. customer insights and feeding compliance/risk management, i.c. feeding Basel reporting.
- Validate and advise on target architecture for master data management of core banking referential: managing operational customer and contract referential, managing distributor, product and other referential.
- Determine target architecture for dealing with "cross banking insurance" data management and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction on the architectural design of highly scalable software products using relational databases other big data solutions
- Interact with developers and DBAs around the design of features, and help refine their vision and make it actionable
- Develop SQL Server stored procedures, views and SQL scripts.
- Work with other leads and developers to ensure that the database architecture, design and development adhere to consistent architecture standards and best practices.
- Participate in cross functional teams for planning, estimating and scheduling activities
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews and documentation reviews
- Lead efforts to improve performance and reliability at the database layer.
Experience;
- 7+ years of experience in all areas of database development and/or BI development including at least five years with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Must have expert level capabilities in Transact-SQL, stored procedure development, query optimization, and tuning.
- Strong understanding of operational and analytical data architectures. Experience that resulted in expert knowledge of RDBMS principles, database design, and normalization and knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack
- Experience with Business Analytics, ETL Architecture, data modeling, dimensional modeling, ETL using one of the industry leading ETL technology
