Italian Speaking Technical Support Engineer - Windows - Server - 300 Euros Per Day - 12 months
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for an Italian speaking Technical Support Engineer for a 12 month contract.
Role of the Italian Speaking Technical Support Engineer:
- Provide high quality telephone and email support to our tier 1 customers.
- Take ownership of customer cases proactively and working them to resolution through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor, update and manage existing customer tickets through a web-based ticketing system.
- Document all technical work carried out with a view developing content for our technical knowledgebase.
- Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed for unresolved issues. Fluent English speaker a MUST Italian.
Requirements of the Italian Speaking Technical Support Engineer:
- Fluent English & Italian language a must.
- Technical degree and strong relevant industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 2003 and 2008, Active Directory, domains and domain trusts with extensive hands-on networking experience.
- Solid understanding of network technologies (Firewalls, Routers, Switches) and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP etc.).
- Packet trace analysis.
- Linux OS, networking and troubleshooting skills a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized with attention to detail.
